Kids 2-hour Fishing trips in the bay (Destin​,​ FL). These are fun trips that do end up with good eating fish sometimes​,​ but more angled towards lots of action​,​ learning and fun. We tend to try and have the live bait on board before the trip starts. We often times use popping corks on light tackle rods. At the end of these trips you have the option of checking one or two crab traps near the marina. Bring a spare cooler or bucket for the live blue crabs. We will send you recipes on how to cook and clean these beauties. ABOUT THE BOAT - Well equipped 2001 customized 22-foot Cape Horn offshore series boat with an outboard motor​​,​​ full tower & controls​​,​​ giant live well​​,​​ passenger space​​,​​ rod holders and storage space. FISHING TRIP TYPE= Inshore​​/​​Bay Fishing - Inshore Fishing​​,​​ also known as Bay Fishing​​,​​ does not take place in the open Ocean​​,​​ but in all of the bays and bayous in between! These waters are much calmer which make for a much smoother fishing trip. FISH SPECIES -Speckled Trout - Red Fish - Spanish Mackerel - Mangrove Snapper - Bluefish - Ladyfish - Crevalle Jack - Sail Catfish WHAT'S INCLUDED - Boat​​,​​ Captain​​,​​ Rods​​,​​ Bait​​,​​ Fuel and Your Fishing License - High quality sun block spray and towels - Fish cleaned​​,​​ bagged​​,​​ labeled and iced for your cooler at the end of the trip - Texted recipes to match your catch - Pictures texted to you THE RODS - We use light tackle to medium tackle spinning rods. THE BAIT - Throughout the summer months we throw one of three different mesh nets to catch menhaden​​,​​ greenies​​,​​ spot minnows and croakers to be used for live bait. We buy live shrimp​​,​​ oyster and fiddler crabs to catch sheep head​​,​​ trout​​,​​ reds​​,​​ pompano and black drum. We tend to use store bought bait in the winter. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Proper clothing​​,​​ footwear​​,​​ sunglasses (polarized sunglasses are recommended) - Food and drink - Cooler if you plan on keeping your catch (no wheels or coolers larger than 40 quarts​​,​​ please) ADDITIONAL EXPENSES - Gratuity is customary at the end of each trip. If all went well on your trip (which is our mission)​​,​​ we would love to receive a 15% tip or more.
